EVERBLACK - Denim that doesn’t fade. Our Everblack fabric has been developed to keep its pitch-black tone after wear and washing. The result is a fabric that remains pitch black after over 40 domestic wash cycles. Normally, when fabrics are dyed the pigment will not completely fixate. Thus, excess dye remains unfixed on the surface which eventually tears off as you wear and wash your garment. In the case of our Everblack fabric, the method and type of dyestuff have been improved to provide a stronger fixation, resulting in greater color fastness that makes the fabric withstand more wear and washes. Since April 2018 we shifted our production into using the paper-based material jacron for our waistband patches. Now all our denim products are produced using the jacron patch. However, a number of our products will have stock of both jacron and leather for some time. This product is one of those and comes with a patch in either jacron or leather. Both do, of course, hold a high quality and are visually very similar.
