Description

Jeans made in a beautiful, sturdy, 14.2 oz, redcast selvage denim woven by Amhot Mills in Osaka, Japan. The warp yarns have been dip dyed 20 times in pure indigo, giving the jeans its dark, pure indigo, redcast tone. The naturally slubby yarns, woven under low-tension has produced the perfectly chunky and uneven surface structure. Making this fabric hit the very spot where imperfection turns to perfection - a true denim masterpiece. If that was not enough this denim fabric has a history; it is a recreation of a denim used for a pair of jeans from the 1950s. The jeans were found at a vintage market, worn-in and utterly beautiful. In awe of the look, the good people at Amhot took it upon themselves to replicate the denim fabric. And boy are we happy they did! These Steady Eddie II's are, much thanks to the fabric, simply ace. If you are looking for a 'top of the line' Japanese selvage that develops a marbling, salt 'n pepper structure like the best vintage denim did, then this is by all means it. We are super excited to be able to offer the Steady Eddie II Dry Ace Selvage. Let the break-in begin!
