Rag rugs made from recycled denim

Rugs header

We love denim. We really, really love denim. If it was up to us – the computer, phone, or tablet you’re reading this in would be in denim.

So what we’ve done this time is a rug made of old and worn out Nudie Jeans. The jeans were first cut down to serrated strips which were sewn together and then rolled up on spools. The strips were then woven together by hand on a manual shuttle loom. The weft is made from indigo dyed thread, the same that’s used for the Nudie Jeans denims. The rugs have been made in a limited edition and all of them are numbered from 1-120.
