Description

We are very proud to present Lean Dean Dry Rebirth Embo, jeans made from recycled post-consumer Nudie Jeans and organic cotton. The rebirth of your worn and torn Nudie Jeans! By mechanical recycling, the collected jeans were cut into pieces, ground to fibers and blended with virgin organic cotton to guarantee durability. After yarn spinning and weaving, we ended up with a 12.75 oz comfort stretch denim which we indigo dyed and subsequently over-dyed black. The finished dry fabric is pitch black and will over time fade revealing the underlying indigo. With wear and washing, these jeans will fade towards a beautiful grey-blueish tone. The yarn slub will also become visible, creating a grainy character with bright grey highlights over the slubs and darker cold blue shades at folds, creases and within the twill lines. The Lean Dean Dry Rebirth comes with 6-color back pocket embroidery, magenta on black pocket label, dull black trims and Rebirth pocket bag print making it distinctly stand out in our assortment. The process of making these jeans possible was very much enabled by both us and you, our customer, who has handed in unrepairable jeans over the years. A collective effort enabling us to move towards a more circular way of doing denim. Welcome to the Rebirth of your worn and torn Nudie Jeans.
